Our Mission & Vision

  1. Bridge Private & Public Resources

To strengthen and sustain Palos Park’s park and recreation system by aligning public resources with private, corporate, and philanthropic support. PPRF facilitates charitable investments in key projects that align to the current and future needs of the Recreation and Parks Department.

  1. Fund distinctive enhancements

To maintain and expand the reach of the Palos Park Recreation Department’s excellent services and quality facilities. PPRF is specifically interested in projects that would not otherwise be possible at scale without additional community resources.

  1. Cultivate a Culture of Connection

To serve as a conduit for communication, collaboration, and service to shape and sustain a vibrant recreational environment.

  1. Champion long-term stewardship

To ensure that Palos Park’s Recreation and Parks lands, facilities, and assets meet the evolving needs of our community while maintaining a legacy of care for our physical spaces.
